These are odor-free, alcohol-free body wipes that are a cheap and easy way to maintain some hygiene on the trail. We searched for something odor-free since bears are said to be attracted to any unusual odor, including the perfumy stuff often used on wipes. We used these on our last two-week section hike of the Appalachian Trail. The first week we made an evening ritual of using one wipe each, cleaning first the face, then the armpits, then the crotch. We felt cleaner and stank noticably less than during our last AT trip. Then we messed up. The second week of our trip saw colder, wetter weather, and we got lazy. We stopped the nightly riual and not only did we stink more, but I developed a fungal infection in my crotch and needed a prescription to get rid of it.
Next time, the ritual, and I think I'll try two per day.
